Accept BNB

Accept BNB payments

BNB, and USDT and USDC on BNB Smart Chain. Paid in about 15 seconds, for 0.5% per payment.

BNB Smart Chain is the fast, cheap network: a block about every second, and a network fee of cents or less. CoinsFlow is a BNB payment gateway for BNB itself and for USDT and USDC on the chain: a payment is paid about 15 seconds after your customer sends it, and withdrawable about 15 seconds after that. It costs 0.5% per payment.

How it works

  1. Create an invoice on BNB Smart Chain (bsc) in BNB, USDT or USDC, priced in the coin or in US dollars: one API call from your shop, or a few clicks in the dashboard.
  2. Your customer opens the payment page: a fresh 0x… address, the exact amount, a QR code, and the network, named, so a token is not sent on the wrong chain.
  3. We see the payment in its first block, about a second after it is sent, and the payment page tells your customer it is on its way.
  4. At 15 confirmations, about 15 seconds, it is paid: your server gets the signed invoice.paid webhook, and the money is in your balance.
  5. At 30 confirmations, about 15 seconds later, it is final and withdrawable: to your own wallet on BNB Smart Chain, by hand or automatically.

Read from our own node

Payments are read from a BNB Smart Chain node we run ourselves, like every network we take. Nobody else's API decides whether you were paid.

A BNB payment API in one call

One request makes the invoice, here in cURL, Node.js and Python. There is no SDK to install. For USDT or USDC on BNB Smart Chain, change asset.

POST /v1/invoices
curl https://api.coinsflow.app/v1/invoices \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COINSFLOW_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: order-1042" \
  -d '{"chain":"bsc","asset":"BNB","priceAmount":"40.00","orderId":"order-1042"}'

Send your customer to the paymentUrl in the answer, and fulfil the order on the invoice.paid webhook. To try it with no money first, add "test": true to the body and simulate the payment. Every field is in the API docs.

Questions

Why is BNB Smart Chain so fast?

Its blocks come about once a second. A payment is in its first block almost at once, paid at 15 confirmations, about 15 seconds, and final at 30, about 15 seconds after that. There is no mempool wait as on Bitcoin: a payment is either in a block or not sent yet.

Is BNB Smart Chain the same as Binance?

No. BNB Smart Chain is a public network, and your customer can pay from any wallet or exchange that sends on it, Binance among them. CoinsFlow reads payments from a BNB Smart Chain node we run ourselves; no exchange is involved.

What does my customer pay to send?

Cents or less, in BNB, on top of the invoice. That is true for BNB itself and for USDT and USDC on the chain, which is why BNB Smart Chain is the cheapest way to take the dollar tokens on CoinsFlow.

Can I price in dollars and be paid in BNB?

Yes. Give priceAmount in US dollars. The payment page asks for the BNB amount at the current price, rounded up to 6 decimals, and brings it up to date once an hour until it is paid. For USDT and USDC a dollar is a dollar: $49.99 asks for 49.99 tokens.

Is there a smallest BNB payment?

An invoice in BNB alone has no minimum. On a pay-in-any-coin invoice BNB is offered from 0.00002 BNB, and USDT and USDC from 0.01. The smallest withdrawal is 0.0005 BNB, 1 USDT or 1 USDC, to your own address on BNB Smart Chain.
